Music in the classroom.
DJ workshops and after-school programmes for schools and cultural organisations.
Schools & Education
Pupils get to know DJing and music production in a fun and interactive way. The lessons are developed especially for primary schools (years 5 to 8) in Maastricht and surroundings and fit in with after-school programmes and cultural education.
Pupils work with real DJ equipment and discover step by step how a DJ mixes music and how beats are built. They learn the basics of DJ techniques and music structure, and how to make their own music. Creativity, rhythm and teamwork are at the heart of it.
Would you rather start with an introduction? Choose a guest lesson in DJing and music production: an inspiration lesson in which pupils get to know electronic music and DJing. After that, an after-school course can be offered to pupils who want more.
The programme
- 8 practical group lessons where you learn by doing
