Terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to enrolments for courses and lessons of Electronic Music Maastricht (Chamber of Commerce number 93013280, VAT ID NL04993083B98), located at Sint Josephstraat 24A, 6227 SM Maastricht, operating under the name Electronic Music Limburg, hereinafter "EML". For our services, such as hospitality, weddings, mixing and mastering and music education for schools, we provide a quote. That quote contains the agreements for the assignment. If the Dutch and the English text differ, the Dutch text prevails.

1. Enrolment

  1. By enrolling in a course or lesson at EML, the student agrees to these general terms and conditions.
  2. The enrolment is personal and not transferable.
  3. Enrolment obliges the student to pay the full tuition fee.
  4. If the student is a minor, the parents or guardians are responsible for payment.

2. Payments

  1. By enrolling, the student accepts the agreed tuition fee and the related payment obligations.
  2. The tuition fee must be paid in full before the first lesson is given, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  3. Payment can be made in one or two instalments, depending on the agreement made.
  4. Invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt, by online banking or in cash.
  5. Deviating payment arrangements are only possible after consultation and written confirmation by EML.

3. Refunds

  1. Missed lessons do not entitle the student to a refund or to make-up lessons, unless agreed otherwise.

4. Liability

  1. Bringing personal belongings to the lesson location is entirely at your own risk. EML is not liable for loss, theft or damage.
  2. Damage to buildings, inventory or materials caused by the student must be compensated by the student or their legal representative.
  3. EML is not liable for accidents, injury or damage occurring during or around the lessons.

5. General

  1. Students are asked to cancel in good time if they cannot attend.
  2. EML is not obliged to make up missed lessons. In consultation, an alternative time within the same week can be considered, without guarantee.
  3. No lessons take place during school holidays and official public holidays, unless agreed otherwise. In that case the lessons are moved.
